OCS was subcontracted by Heerema Marine Contractors BV for the installation engineering for the Tie-in spool installation for the Arkutun Dagi Field Development in Sakhalin. The Arkutun Dagi Field is operated by Exxon Neftegas Limited (ENL).

Scope:

• Spool and tunnel lift engineering including spreader bar design
• Installation procedure for spools and tunnel installation
• Conceptualization and design of all installation aids
• Tunnel re-configuration Engineering (consolidating 12 sections into 3) including:
  – In place analysis
  – Ice loading
  – Rock Placement
  – CP checks
• Dynamic lift analysis for motion assessment
• Grillage and seafastening analysis and design of structural components
• Transportation vessel stability
• Preparation of fabrication drawings for spools and tunnel sections
