BARGE RIG UP SERVICES
OCS personnel has extensive experiences in all facets of marine construction from project pre-planning & preparation, mobilization, offshore execution, until project completion enabling the well understanding on Customer’s requirements, project particulars, and all critical-aspects that required to enable the efficient/effective “Mobilization & Rig-Up” of marine spreads in both schedule & cost perspectives.
It is vital, prior to project mobilization stage, to have advanced and comprehensive preparations and coordination with the relevant parties. OCS operational team has a vast experience in coordinating the activities at the vessel mobilization/rig-up port with various parities i.e. Vessel Owner, Vessel Crew, Agents, Subcontractors/Vendors, on deck Rig-up Crew, Marine Warranty Surveyor (3rd Party), and also Port Master. OCS personnel is also able to represent the Customer together with Customer’s appointed Agent providing the clarifications to Customs Officer, Immigration Officer, and other Government Authority to ensure vessel’s sailaway according to the schedule.
OCS personnel will represent Customer to ensure the vessel was rigged-up according to Customer’s plan, having cargo loaded, placed and seafastened as per the approved drawing, and attaining COA for the sailaway from Marine Warranty Surveyor.
OCS organization is proficient to provide both transport/seafastening engineering & operational rig-up services, including logistics & related coordination for “Mobilization & Rig-up” of marine spreads as following:
- Mobilization & Rig-up of “Main Installation Vessel” such as Derrick Lay Barge/Vessel, Crane Barge, Diving Support Vessel. This involves the complex coordination onboard with various key subcontractors e.g. Survey & Positioning, ROV, Diving, Piling Equipment, Reel Laying Equipment, Pre-Commissioning etc.
- Mobilization & Rig-up of “Support Installation Vessel” such as ROV Vessel, Pre-comm Vessel, Grouting Vessel, Survey Vessel, Hook-up Vessel etc.
- “Cargo Transport Vessel” for transporting general and special cargos to OFFSHORE site such as Rigid Linepipe, Platform Structure (Topside, Jacket, Pile, Vent Boom, Boatlanding, and Appurtenances), Reels for Flexible Flowline/Riser & Umbilical Control Products, Subsea PLEM/ Structure, Tie-in Spools, Rigid Riser, I-Tube, etc.
