Internal Lifting Tool
Dual Drill Unit
The Dual Drill Unit is a specialized subsea cutting tool used primarily for decommissioning of conductor pipes, casing strings, or piles. It features two independent hydraulic drill heads mounted on a frame that allows simultaneous or sequential drilling operations around the circumference of the target structure.
This setup enables precise severance of multi-string casings or thick-walled tubulars from the inside out, often as a preparatory step before pulling conductors or jacket legs.
The dual configuration improves efficiency and balance during operation, especially in challenging subsea environments. Its compact frame, ROV compatibility, and ability to operate at various depths make it ideal for internal pile or conductor cutting, particularly in tight or confined subsea spaces.
