The OCS owned Submersible Sand Pump is a single stage, single suction, single casing, submerged overhang shaft centrifugal slurry pump, designed to handle abrasive and corrosive slurries in applications such as mining and mineral processing, power plants, refining, coal preparation etc.

The submersible sand pump is being used for underwater trenching/dredging job where the pump will suck mixture of water and sand into the pump and discharge it through the discharge line
